Cristiano Ronaldo and Juventus to see off Chievo, more misery for Unai Emery?
We hit the crossbar twice in midweek, correctly tipping wins for Atletico Madrid and AEK Athens. However, Atleti needed extra-time to see off Real Madrid while Celtic's late goal in Greece cost us a 15/4 winner.
In the Premier League this weekend we fancy Chelsea to see off Arsenal and Huddersfield Town not to go down without a fight at the Etihad.
Running total: +£0.21
Huddersfield shipped 33 away goals in the Premier League last season and look to have it all to do against Manchester City this weekend. However, at this early stage of the season David Wagner may see this fixture as something of a free hit for his side, who can at least get on the scoresheet at the Etihad. Pep Guardiola's men looked superb against Arsenal, dominating that game from start to finish. They will almost certainly take another three points here, but both teams to score looks big at 13/8 if the Terriers turn up and try to have a go.
The Tasty Treble
Chelsea look a solid shout at 4/5 to beat Arsenal on Sunday, given how Unai Emery's side capitulated against Manchester City last weekend. Last season the Gunners won just once in matches against the rest of the top six in the Premier League, while Chelsea looked impressive in easing to a 3-0 win on the opening day. Liverpool should be too hot for Crystal Palace on Monday night, but the bet to be on in that game is surely punting the 3/4 on both teams scoring. Both teams like to play on the front foot and it will be fascinating to see how Wilfried Zaha gets on against a Liverpool defence that can be erratic at times. Finally Everton (17/20) can be trusted to get the better of Southampton at Goodison. The Toffees are pretty solid at home, while the Saints have not won at Everton this century. The treble with bet365 is paying better than 9/2.

The First Goal Flutter
Brighton lost just four home games last season and won't be fazed by the prospect of entertaining Manchester United this weekend. Jose Mourinho'a men still look a bit short defensively but have some real quality up top and Alexis Sanchez looks worth a punt at 9/2 to score first at the Amex. The Chilean had an impressive preseason but admittedly didn't look great during that 2-1 win over Leicester, giving away possession far too often. However Sanchez is the real deal and will be a player Brighton, who were awful against Watford, will be desperate to keep the shackles on.
The Euro Wager
Juventus produced the goods when it mattered last season, pipping Napoli to win a thrilling Serie A title race. They have since recruited Cristiano Ronaldo, and can get their title defence off to a flyer by beating Chievo to nil this weekend. The Bianconeri have not conceded a goal in any of their last three matches against Chievo so 4/5 looks perfectly fair.
The Wildcard Tip
Ryan Sessegnon was a revelation for Fulham last season and can serve notice that the hype surrounding this English youngster is not misplaced by starring for the Cottagers against Tottenham. Harry Kane's goalscoring problems in August are well documented, so it might be worth having a nibble on Sessegnon to score first against Spurs at 14/1.
