Manchester City to bounce back, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on target

The FC panel answer your latest questions from the twittersphere.

The banker bet landed again in midweek as West Ham beat AFC Wimbledon and we were unlucky after also calling Southampton's win against Brighton, but electing to go with both teams to score in that one instead of a straight win.

The Premier League returns this weekend and we fancy champions Manchester City to get back on track against Newcastle.

Running total: -£0.29

The Banker

After dropping their first points of the season last weekend, Manchester City will be eager to get back into the groove and should be way too good for Newcastle United on Saturday. The Magpies were blasted for a perceived lack of ambition against Chelsea at home last time out and are 20/1 shots to win at the Etihad. However they lost each of their visits to top six opposition last season and just don't have the quality to compete with a side who can keep the likes of Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling on the bench. The Toon have conceded 14 goals in their last three trips to the Etihad so backing Manchester City to win both halves at 5/6 looks the way to go here.

Selection: £6 on Manchester City to win both halves at 5/6 with be365

The Tasty Treble

Liverpool (4/9) face the sternest test of their title credentials so far as they face Leicester City at the King Power. The Reds sit proudly at the top of the table after three matches, and can continue their blistering start by beating the Foxes, who will be without Jamie Vardy through suspension. Everton (1/2) were unlucky not to beat Bournemouth last time out but can make amends by blasting past a Huddersfield side who have scored just one goal this season. Finally, Crystal Palace (19/20) look worth backing to beat a Southampton side who have won just two of their last 15 Premier League games. It looks a tough ask for the Saints, who kept just one clean sheet away from home last season.

Selection: £3 on the treble at 3.22/1 with bet365

The Euro Wager

Roma have a great recent record against AC Milan so it's something of a surprise to see them chalked up at 15/8 to win at the San Siro. Milan lost their season opener to Napoli while Roma are unbeaten so far and won in Milan last season. With Javier Pastore pulling the strings Roma look a good bet to get the better of Gennaro Gattuso's men again.

Selection: £2 on Roma to win at 15/8 with bet365

The Wildcard Tip

Liverpool and Arsenal are both fancied to claim away wins this weekend against Leicester and Cardiff respectively. Few teams will be able to keep Liverpool's electric front three quiet this season while Arsenal should have too much for Cardiff. Backing the Gunners and Jurgen Klopp's men both to claim 3-1 victories on the road offers punters a correct score double paying a whopping 168/1 with bet365.

Selection: £1 on correct score double at 168/1 with bet365

The First Goal Flutter

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has yet to find the net for Arsenal this season but might not get a better chance than against relegation favourites Cardiff City. The Gunners have lost eight of their last nine matches away from home in the league but are fancied to claim three points in the Welsh capital, and Aubameyang can get them going by scoring first.

Selection: £2 on Aubameyang to score first at 5/2 with bet365
