Fantasy Follow-Up: Week Two

Costa is settling in quickly to life in England.

Outstanding Performances

Aaron Ramsey, Arsenal (9.5)

His late goal and second of the season helped rescue a late point for the Gunners.

Gylfi Sigurdsson, Swansea (6.4)

The bargain midfielder set up the only goal of the game and now has a goal, two assists and a clean sheet.

Diego Costa, Chelsea (9.2)

The big-money transfer scored for the second game in a row.

Cesc Fabregas, Chelsea (8.7)

Looking like a Stamford Bridge fixture already, his assist gives him three in two games.

Steven Naismith, Everton (5.9)

He scored only five PL goals last season for Everton and now has two in two matches.

Nacer Chadli (6.5), Tottenham

The midfielder scored two goals to help Spurs go top of the table.

Stevan Jovetic, Manchester City (6.3)

The forward found the net twice in the first "big" game of the season: a statement home win against Liverpool.

Erik Lamela, Tottenham (6.4)

Reborn and energized under a new manager, he had two assists to spark his team.

Eric Dier, Tottenham (5.4)

The young Englishman scored his second goal and leads defenders in fantasy points with 30.

Dier must think playin in the Premier League is easy!

They're back

Eden Hazard, Chelsea (9.3)

After a poor World Cup and a tame opening game, the Belgian claimed his first goal of the season.

Olivier Giroud, Arsenal (8.7)

A substitute again , Giroud got the late game-tying goal and will surely start vs. Leicester.

Seamus Coleman, Everton (6.7)

Now recovered from injury, the defender who had six goals last season, scored vs. Arsenal.

Romelu Lukaku, Everton (7.9)

After a quiet opening week, the Belgian put his muscle to work and assisted in his team's second goal.

Emanuel Adebayor, Tottenham (7.8)

He looked like the Adebayor of old, scoring a goal and having an assist.

Nikica Jelavic, Hull (5.9)

The forward opened his season's account with a goal.

Juan Mata, Manchester United (7.9)

Scored his first goal in a disappointing draw.

Don't forget me

Santi Cazorla, Arsenal (8.2)

Cazorla came off the bench to get an assist and helped spark Arsenal's comeback.

Sergio Aguero, Manchester City (9.2)

Brought on again as a sub, he needed only 23 seconds to score his second goal of the season.

Thunderbolt

Stewart Downing, West Ham (5.8)

His long-range wonder strike helped the Hammers to win at Crystal Palace.

Nice debut

Maruo Zarate, West Ham (7.0)

The Hammers, desperate for goalscorers, saw their new transfer volley in a fine goal.

Clean houses

Brad Guzan, Aston Villa (5.7)

Notched his second clean sheet with a four-save performance against Newcastle.

Thibaut Courtois, Chelsea (7.3)

Made four saves while shutting out Leicester.

Easy housekeeping

Tim Krul, Newcastle (5.7)

Had no saves to make in claiming a clean sheet against Aston Villa.

Ben Foster, WBA (5.3)

The England man had little to do in a 0-0 standoff with Southampton.

Fraser Forster, Southhampton (5.8)

Ditto!

Lukasz Fabianski, Swansea (4.1)

The best-value goalkeeper saved Burnley's only shot on goal and helped the Swans remain undefeated.

Uh-oh...

Felipe Luis, Chelsea (7.2)

The defender was left on the bench and has not played in the opening two games. If not against Burnley and Leicester, then who?

Alexis Sanchez, Arsenal (9.2)

The Chilean took no shots in the first half at Everton and was subbed out at the break.

Mesut Ozil, Arsenal (7.9)

He took no shots, passed poorly, lost Coleman on defence and gave the ball away too much.

Jack Wilshere, Arsenal (6.6)

Another inept performance saw him subbed out again. Avoid from a fantasy point of view.
