Ubon UMT United rack up spooky statistics in Thailand League 1
Thai League club Ubon UMT United have created what has to be a unique league record when they beat rival side Super Power Samut Prakan 2-1 in the season's penultimate fixture on Nov. 11.
On the 11th day of the 11th month, Ubon secured their 11th win of the season to go with their 11 draws and 11 defeats.
When they were 1-0 down late in the game, it was Victor Cardozo's 11th goal of the season that brought them back into the game.
Somewhat disappointingly, Ubon sit 10th rather than 11th in the Thai League table, with Englishman Scott Cooper having secured their place in the top tier after last year's promotion.
On the goal difference front, Ubon are on 0, having scored and conceded exactly 53 goals.
So their full record reads 33-11-11-11-53-53-44.
Unfortunately, Ubon's current statistics will change when they face Sisaket at home on the final day of the season next week.
But, for seven days, Ubon's unusually symmetrical record will stand.
