Danny Welbeck has way into England World Cup squad - Arsene Wenger

Former Arsenal right back Lauren has insisted that Alexis Sanchez will not score as many goals for the team as he did last season.

Danny Welbeck is set to make his first start in five weeks when Arsenal play Cologne on Thursday, with Arsene Wenger confident the injury-prone forward can still make England's World Cup squad.

Welbeck has had two month-long layoffs this season with muscle problems, having recovered from two knee surgeries that ruined his previous two campaigns.

But he's ready to return in Thursday's Europa League clash, and Wenger is sure he will be in contention for Gareth Southgate's squad next summer.

Everton looking to beat Arsenal to Charlton defender Ezri Konsa - sources

David Unsworth hails the effort of his Everton players after they fought back to earn a draw at Crystal Palace.

Everton are planning a January swoop for Charlton's Ezri Konsa as they look to move ahead of Arsenal for the defender, sources close to the League One club have told ESPN FC.

Charlton are resigned to losing Konsa when the transfer window reopens in January with a number of Premier League clubs on his trail.

Arsenal have sent scouts to watch the 20-year-old on a regular basis this season, but Everton are aiming to beat their Premier League rivals to the defender's signature by making a bid for him...

Nacho Monreal confident Ozil, Sanchez will stay at Arsenal beyond January

Arsenal defenders Rob Holding and Nacho Monreal go head-to-head on NBA 2K18. Who will come out on top?

Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal believes star duo Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez will stay at the club for the rest of the season despite speculation about possible moves in January.

Ozil and Sanchez can leave for free next summer when their contracts expire, and manager Arsene Wenger has said it is "possible" that they will be sold in January.

But Monreal told the International Business Times he was confident they would stay for the whole campaign.

"Yes, the feeling is that they will continue....

Manchester City can still be caught- Arsenal's Granit Xhaka

Stewart Robson dissects the North London derby, and discusses how Arsenal were able to overcome an in-form Spurs side.

Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka thinks it is possible that Manchester City can slip up, despite their near-perfect start to the Premier League season.

Arsenal are 12 points behind Pep Guardiola's side, who have only dropped two points in 12 matches, but Xhaka was optimistic when asked about the prospects of competing for the title.

"I think in football everything is possible," Xhaka told Sky Sports. "Manchester City, at the moment, are on a very good run, they're doing very well and others have...

Thomas Tuchel fall-out behind Dortmund exit - Sven Mislintat

Borussia Dortmund's Peter Bosz believes his side are out to prove critics wrong because nobody is backing his side to beat Tottenham.
The FC crew react to Dortmund's loss to Stuttgart, and Gab Marcotti explains Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's suspension.

New Arsenal head of recruitment Sven Mislintat has cited a training ground ban under Thomas Tuchel as the main reason he considered a move away from Borussia Dortmund.

Mislintat vacated his position as Dortmund's head of professional football on Tuesday to take on a role at Arsenal. The 45-year-old had previously been chased by several Bundesliga clubs, but until the Premier League offer Dortmund managed to fend off suitors including Bayern Munich and Hamburg.

Speaking to kicker following his departure...
