Florenzi's 13th-minute goal was marked by an emotional celebration in the stands.

Roma midfielder Alessandro Florenzi faces punishment for his unorthodox celebration on Sunday, when he ran to hug his grandmother in the crowd after scoring in his side's 2-0 win over Cagliari.

Mattia Destro opened the scoring for Roma on 10 minutes.

Roma continued their perfect start to the Serie A season with a a 2-0 win over Cagliari on Sunday.

Rudi Garcia's men have won all three of their league games so far without conceding and also claimed a 5-1 win over CSKA Moscow in the Champions League in midweek.

They were not quite as devastating against Cagliari, but two goals in three minutes from Mattia Destro and Alessandro Florenzi was enough to keep them among the early pacesetters.

Destro could have opened the scoring after just four minutes,...
