Serie B match between Ascoli and Cremonese postponed after coronavirus fears

An Italian Serie B match was called off on Saturday around one hour before the scheduled kickoff because of fears over the coronavirus.

The Italian news agency ANSA said that the Ascoli-Cremonese match was postponed because the visiting side are from the Lombardy region in the north of Italy where 30 cases have been reported so far.

Juventus snap up Ascoli winger Riccardo Orsolini for €10 million

Juventus have signed another youngster with one eye on the future, paying Ascoli €10 million for winger Riccardo Orsolini.

The 19-year-old, who will remain on loan at the Serie B side until the summer, is the Bianconeri's second January signing. Atalanta's Mattia Caldara has also agreed to move to Turin but, like Orsolini, will wait until the end of the 2016-17 season before joining up with his new teammates.

Ascoli midfielder Riccardo Orsolini has caught the eye of AC Milan's leadership.

AC Milan have their sights set on Ascoli midfielder Riccardo Orsolini, but CEO Adriano Galliani says the club won't be spending a lot of money in January.

Orsolini, 19, has been linked to Juventus and Watford in the Premier League after some fine play in Serie B, and Galliani confirmed Milan's interest.
