Yeray has been seen training separately at Athletic's headquarters in Lezama this week and Ziganda says he appears to have beaten the disease.

Kepa has been in talks with Athletic over a new deal since January, but negotiations have so far been unsuccessful.

But Ziganda told a news conference: "I have no reason to not be optimistic regarding Kepa's renewal.

"It's not that I want to fool myself but, as long...

Marco Asensio scores brace in Real Madrid draw; Ganso gives Sevilla win

Valencia looked as if they would steal three points in the Bernabeu, until Marco Asensio produced another moment of magic.
Real Madrid pulled out a 2-2 draw at home against Valencia, with Marco Asensio netting a classy brace along the way.

Two goals from Marco Asensio weren't enough as Real Madrid slumped to a 2-2 home draw against Valencia on Sunday.

Defending La Liga champions Real took the lead after 10 minutes when Asensio, who's been one of Europe's most impressive players in the young season, cut in from the right and curled his left-footed shot past Valencia keeper Neto from just outside the box.

Valencia took the lead through Carlos Soler in the 18th minute and Geoffrey Kondogbia in the 77th, but Asensio struck again seven...
