Atletico Tucuman sees VAR put them on back foot against Gremio in Copa Libertadores

There are two outsiders in the quarterfinals of South America's Copa Libertadores. Chile's Colo Colo are the only team left from outside Brazil and Argentina. And of the eight remaining teams, Atletico Tucuman are the only one which has never lifted the trophy.

Atletico Tucuman score Copa Libertadores upset using borrowed kits

Fernando Zampedri scored as Atletico Tucuman used kits borrowed from the Argentina U20 side after they arrived at their Copa Libertadores match without their luggage.

Atletico Tucuman on Tuesday beat El Nacional of Ecuador, 1-0, in the return leg of the second round of Copa Libertadores on Tuesday despite being more than an hour-and-a-half late for the kickoff in Quito and wearing kits and boots borrowed from the Argentina under-20 team.

The Argentina side saw their flight delayed nearly three hours in Guayaquil because their chartered flight to Quito did not have clearance to fly with passengers.
