Bradford ended their run of five matches without a win with a 1-0 victory over Yorkshire rivals Barnsley on a emotional day at Valley Parade.

As is the custom at Bradford's last home match of the season, there was a minute's silence in memory of the 56 people who died in the Valley Parade fire 30 years ago on May 11 and wreaths were also laid in the centre circle by captains Stephen Darby and Martin Cranie.

England manager Roy Hodgson and Football Association chairman Greg Dyke also attended the match...

Luke Berry's late equaliser saw Barnsley rescue a point at home in a 1-1 draw against Peterborough.

Conor Washington gave the visitors a first-half lead, but a late Barnsley corner saw Berry head home in the final minute of stoppage time.

Peterborough took the lead in the 16th minute through Washington, with the midfielder pouncing from close range after Jack Cowgill had failed to clear a long ball into the penalty area.

Barnsley had their chances to get back in the game in the first 45 minutes, with...

Balint Bajner scored a dramatic stoppage-time equaliser as Notts County stretched their unbeaten run to five games with a 1-1 draw against Barnsley.

In Ricardo Moniz's first home game in charge since succeeding Shaun Derry, the Dutch coach watched as the Magpies started brightly with Gary Jones going close.

But a good start was undone by the brilliance of Sam Winnall in the ninth minute when the striker lashed in a terrific half-volley from the edge of the box.

Barnsley striker Sam Winnall ensured play-off chasing Chesterfield had to settle for a 1-1 draw at Oakwell.

Jay O'Shea gave the visitors a first-half lead, but Barnsley fought back to force a draw with Winnall equalising just after the hour-mark.

Chesterfield took the lead in the 26th minute. Conor Hourihane stumbled and lost possession and Jimmy Ryan seized on the loose ball before finding O'Shea on the right-hand side of the area and the Irishman fired low into the far corner.

Colchester beat play-off chasing Barnsley 3-1 to give their survival hopes a big boost and record back-to-back wins for the first time this season.

Barnsley deservedly took the lead five minutes before half-time through George Waring, but Gavin Massey levelled after the break before Jacob Murphy and George moncur struck in the last 10 minutes.

Waring pounced in a crowded penalty area to touch home Conor Hourihane's curling free-kick and give the visitors the lead.
