Harry Redknapp has told talkSPORT that Birmingham City have made a "good offer" to sign former Chelsea captain John Terry on a free transfer, and said that the 36-year-old is still good enough to "play for anybody."

Gianfranco Zola planning year out of football after Birmingham exit

Gianfrano Zola previously managed West Ham and Watford in England before his spell at Birmingham.

Gianfranco Zola says he is going to take a year out of football after a disappointing spell as manager of Birmingham City left him feeling "empty."

Zola lasted four months in charge of the Championship club before stepping down with just two wins from 24 matches leaving them battling relegation zone.

It was an experience he told La Gazzetta dello Sport had taken everything out of him, and now he needs time to recover.

"It was a big opportunity at a club with high expectations," the 50-year-old said....

David Stockdale is leaving Brighton after turning down a new contract from the team.

Goalkeeper David Stockdale has rejected a new deal from Premier League new boys Brighton in favour of a move to Birmingham.

The 31-year-old, who played 45 times for Chris Hughton's side as they clinched promotion to the top flight last term, has signed a three-year contract at St Andrew's, which begins on July 1.

With his Albion contract set to expire on June 30, Stockdale was offered a new contract by the south coast club.
