With Chelsea on the outside looking in when it comes to the UCL next season, the FC crew examine who's to blame for their underwhelming campaign.

Borussia Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke has confirmed the club's interest in signing Michy Batshuayi on a permanent deal from Chelsea.

"The interest to sign him does generally exist," Watzke told Sport Bild on Friday, adding: "Chelsea already have two centre-forwards in [Alvaro] Morata and [Olivier] Giroud. First, we have to wait who will be coaching Chelsea next season. Then we'll see what is possible."

Dortmund are, however, only ready to offer between €40-45 million,...

Jurgen Klopp: Bayern Munich never called about coaching vacancy

Jurgen Klopp says his team is in for difficult semifinal after Liverpool beat Manchester city 2-1 in Champions League quarterfinals.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says Bayern Munich never contacted him about becoming their next coach because it would have been "complicated" to buy out his contract.

The German champions have already hired Niko Kovac as their manager for next season to replace the retiring Jupp Heynckes.

Klopp, who guided Borussia Dortmund to the league title in 2011 and 2012, was the last manager to prevent Bayern from winning the Bundesliga.

But after finding subsequent success at Liverpool, Klopp...

Michy Batshuayi injured his left ankle in the final minutes of Borussia Dortmund's defeat on Sunday.

Borussia Dortmund have yet to decide who will replace Michy Batshuayi after the striker sustained a season-ending left ankle injury on Sunday that has put his selection for Belgium's World Cup squad in jeopardy.

Batshuayi, on loan from Chelsea until the end of the season, was injured in the final minutes of Dortmund's 2-0 defeat at Schalke in the Ruhr derby. He scored nine goals in 14 games.

"We have a few options," Dortmund coach Peter Stoger said at a news conference ahead of Saturday's meeting...

Borussia Dortmund boss Peter Stoger: 'Futile' to discuss future before season ends

Christian Pulisic netted his fourth Bundesliga goal of the season and ninth overall to spark Dortmund's comfy win over Stuttgart.

DORTMUND, Germany -- Borussia Dortmund coach Peter Stoger said that it was futile to discuss his future before the end of the season.

Stoger, whose contract expires at the end of June, appeared to signal that he was not interested in renewing his deal after Sunday's 2-0 defeat in the Revierderby to Schalke.

The Austrian, who has reportedly received €3 million for his six months at the club, told WDR Radio after the game: "My contract runs through to June 30, and that's good as it is."

On Tuesday,...
