LAFC seals signing of Benfica's Andre Horta as designated player

Diego Rossi orchestrated a dominant attacking display from LAFC put five goals past Real Salt Lake in their second straight win.
The FC crew discuss Carlos Vela's performances early on at LAFC and whether he can make the case for a spot on Mexico's World Cup squad.

LAFC have completed their long pursuit of Portuguese midfielder Andre Horta by signing the 21-year-old to a designated player contract on Tuesday, though his arrival date is still uncertain.

The midfielder comes to the MLS club from Benfica, with sources telling ESPN FC this week that LAFC will pay a transfer fee of about $7 million, while Horta will earn just over $1m per year in salary.

Braga use Pokemon-themed video to announce new loan signing

When it comes to elaborate player signing videos, few clubs do it better than SC Braga.

Their latest effort, to confirm that Bruno Viana's loan from Olympiacos has been turned into a permanent deal, saw Braga take pointers from a classic Nintendo game.

The video depicts a tense Pokemon battle between Viana and Braga coach Abel Ferreira, in which...

Portuguese giants Braga use Tinder to announce signings

It would appear that the era of the elaborate social media player unveiling video isn't quite over yet, with SC Braga getting in on the act this week.

The amusing little clip sees the Portuguese club swipe left on a Tinder-style dating app after being paired with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Michy Batshuayi and pie-eating goalkeeper Wayne Shaw.

Braga then swipe right to announce their double signing of Riccardo Ryller and Andrej Lukic.

Not a bad effort, but a little late in the day to be considered...
