Inspired by the image of Mee manhandling Bernando Silva like an unruly child, the Clarets' social media team began pumping out a series of excellent photoshopped images.

First came a loving homage to a Steven Spielberg classic.

The Premier League's official US account also got involved in the merriment,...

Martial's winner sees under-par Man United to victory at Burnley

Anthony Martial fired in a shot off the crossbar to see Manchester United past Burnley in a tight affair at Turf Moor.
ESPN FC's Craig Burley breaks down all the action from around the Premier League on Saturday.

BURNLEY, England -- Three thoughts on Manchester United's 1-0 win vs. Burnley in the Premier League.

1. United struggle but hang on for victory

Jose Mourinho asked everyone to forget about Alexis Sanchez and focus on Burnley in his pre-match press conference on Friday and his team, thanks to Anthony Martial's second-half goal, just about managed it at Turf Moor.

For the first 45 minutes, barley a thing happened. Ashley Young, back in the United XI after suspension at Luke Shaw's expense, cut inside...

Burnley boss Sean Dyche: I don't eat worms, I eat gravel and car exhausts

After being accused of eating worms, Sean Dyche wants to set the record straight.

In what surely must be a first, a Premier League manager has been forced to categorically scotch rumours that he eats earthworms.

That manager is Sean Dyche who, it was claimed earlier this week, regularly used to swallow worms during his playing days.

The accusations were made by former Bristol City teammate Soren Andersen while discussing Dyche's gravelly voice on a Danish podcast.

"Maybe the voice comes from eating earthworms, because every time we trained, he used to eat worms," Anderson told...
