Kenneth Zohore struck twice for Cardiff in a 3-1 triumph to leave Ipswich without a win in seven Sky Bet Championship matches.

The visitors had drawn their last six league matches, but gave themselves a chance to break that run when Luke Chambers headed home in the first half.

But Zohore turned the game on its head with strikes either side of half-time to make it nine goals from his last 10 matches.

Joe Bennett completed the job with just under half an hour to play as Cardiff claimed their first victory...

Cardiff's Neil Warnock: Wigan were not a threat under Warren Joyce

Neil Warnock has guided Cardiff to 13th place in the Championship table.

Cardiff boss Neil Warnock has said he did not consider Wigan to be a "threat" once they appointed manager Warren Joyce in November.

Former Manchester United under-21 boss Joyce was sacked on Monday after winning only six of his 24 games in charge at the DW Stadium.

Cardiff are currently 13th in the Championship but were a point above the drop zone, and Wigan, in 21st when Joyce took charge.

"No disrespect but when Wigan appointed him, I was delighted," Warnock told BBC Sport. "I didn't think they...

Lucas Jutkiewicz grabbed a last-minute leveller to ease the pressure on under-fire Birmingham boss Gianfranco Zola in a 1-1 Sky Bet Championship draw at Cardiff.

Joe Ralls' sixth goal of the season from the penalty spot after 53 minutes appeared to have piled further misery on Zola.

But Jutkiewicz rescued Birmingham when he headed Che Adams' cross goalwards, the ball inadvertently coming back off the burly striker from Allan McGregor's save.

Zola admitted Birmingham were in a relegation battle following...

Derrick Williams' 90th-minute equaliser preserved Blackburn manager Tony Mowbray's unbeaten start as they drew 1-1 with Cardiff.

Kenneth Zohore had volleyed in his seventh goal in eight games with six first-half minutes remaining to raise the prospect of Rovers losing for the first time in Mowbray's fourth game in charge.

However, Williams kept his cool at the death to slam home from close range and keep them two points above the Championship drop zone with 11 games to play.

Matt Smith's late goal gave QPR a 2-1 victory against Cardiff on the day the west London club marked the 50th anniversary of their 1967 League Cup triumph.

Sol Bamba headed the visitors into the lead from Craig Noone's corner a minute before half-time.

But Rangers equalised after 62 minutes when a slick move culminated in Jamie Mackie slotting the ball through to substitute Yeni Ngbakoto, who blasted past goalkeeper Allan McGregor.

And January signing Smith headed in Ngbakoto's corner with seven minutes...
