Celtic's Mikael Lustig pinches policeman's hat after win vs. Rangers

Celtic wrapped up their seventh consecutive Scottish Premiership title in outlandish fashion on Sunday afternoon with a thumping 5-0 humiliation of their Old Firm rivals, Rangers.

As expected, the atmosphere proved to be a boisterous one as the Bhoys' stampeded to victory, with defender Mikael Lustig getting particularly carried away at one point.

Indeed, while celebrating his side's third goal of the afternoon, the Swedish defender plucked a policeman's hat from his head and then placed it on his...

Celtic, Rangers fans create 'Hampden Roar' almost as loud as jet engine

The "Hampden Roar" is as loud being right next to a roaring lion and almost as deafening as a jet engine taking off, according to a study at Sunday's Scottish Cup semifinal.

Sound experts recorded a peak noise of 115 decibels during Celtic's 4-0 victory over Rangers at Glasgow's Hampden Park.

The noise dwarfs levels recorded during a Press Association Sport study of Premier League grounds in 2014, which found Old Trafford topping the list at a peak of 84 decibels.

The results, recorded by Vanguardia...

Scouting Spotlight: Kieran Tierney, Julian Brandt, David Selke

Kieran Tierney
Kieran Tierney could be set to replace Luke Shaw.

Scouting Spotlight looks at a Celtic defender targeted by Man United and two young Germans who could be on the move to England.

Kieran Tierney -- Celtic

Regarded as one of the best left-backs in Britain by Brendan Rodgers -- along with Danny Rose and Ryan Bertrand, whom the Celtic manager worked with earlier in his career -- sources told ESPN FC that Tierney has emerged as a target for Manchester United this summer as Jose Mourinho looks to solve his problem position by buying a replacement...

Celtic's clutch of promising youngsters prove their worth vs. Bayern Munich

GLASGOW, Scotland -- It can be a double-edged sword for Celtic to be playing against the likes of Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

The Scottish champions certainly need the competitive challenge -- Saturday's 1-1 draw at home to Kilmarnock was a record-equaling 62nd unbeaten game in domestic football -- and Celtic Park truly comes alive when European football's superpowers come to town.

But playing against the best also provides a showcase for Celtic's top players to prove they can cut it...

Former Celtic boss Ronny Deila strips naked to inspire Valerenga

Ronny Deila has taken an unusual approach to management.

It's been revealed -- quite literally -- that former Celtic boss Ronny Deila has developed a daring new motivational technique to help inspire his players to victory.

Now in charge of Norwegian side Valerenga, Delia has admitted that he has taken to stripping naked before matches in order to bolster his squad.

It certainly appears to be getting results too, with Delia first removing his clothes during the team meeting before last month's clash with rivals Brann, only for his relegation-threatened...

PSG star Neymar embarrasses Celtic and winds up Hoops' Anthony Ralston

Neymar reminds Anthony Ralston of the score during PSG's win over Celtic on Tuesday night.

On only his sixth senior start as a Celtic player, teenage right-back Anthony Ralston was handed the unenviable task of man-marking the most expensive footballer in the world in a Champions League opener.

While the Bhoys would go on to lose 5-0, Ralston made a decent fist of making things difficult for Neymar.

Indeed, the animosity between the pair really began to brew when Ralston was seen laughing in Neymar's face after the latter received a yellow card for simulation in the first half.

The two...
