Sydney FC have scored a major A-League coup, securing the return of winger Bernie Ibini on a season-long loan from Club Brugge.

Ibini left last year to join reigning Belgian Pro League champions Club Brugge on a three-year deal, only to break his leg badly in his first training session and miss the entire season.

Now, the 23-year-old two-time Socceroo will be back in Sky Blue for the first time since playing a key part in Sydney's run to the 2014-15 grand final.

Michel Preud'homme rejects links to Belgium manager's job

Club Brugge's Michel Preud'homme has ruled himself out of the running to become Belgium manager as Jan Vertonghen and Mousa Dembele have called on the country's FA to make the right decision when replacing Marc Wilmots.

Preud'homme, 57, was seen as an obvious candidate to take over from Wilmots, who was dismissed last week after they were beaten 3-1 by Wales in the Euro 2016 quarterfinals.

Paris Saint-Germain sign Belgium right-back Thomas Meunier

Thomas Meunier was part of the Belgium side that reached the quarterfinals at Euro 2016.

Paris Saint-Germain have completed the signing of Thomas Meunier from Club Brugge.

Belgium right-back Meunier, 24, has signed a four-year contract at the Parc des Princes.

Meunier had recently said there was only a "30 percent chance" he would join PSG but he has now been confirmed as the French champions' third signing of the summer after Hatem Ben Arfa and Grzegorz Krychowiak.
