Newport should be able to call on Mark O'Brien for the Friday night clash with Crawley.

O'Brien missed last week's win at Grimsby with injury, but the defender will return to the fray.

Matty Dolan, Joss Labadie and Robbie Willmott all suffered hamstring injuries at Blundell Park but should be fine to play.

New signing Emmanuel Osadebe is unlikely to play after he did not join from Cambridge in time.

Crawley have doubts over midfielder Dannie Bulman.

Improving Crawley recorded three successive wins for the first time since March 2015 with two late Enzio Boldewijn goals sinking Barnet 2-0.

Boldewijn's late brace condemned bottom-of-the-table Barnet to their fifth consecutive Sky Bet League Two defeat.

Crawley top-scorer Jordan Roberts threatened in only the fourth minute when he shot just wide of goalkeeper Craig Ross' left-hand post.

Winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce should have hit the target for Barnet 12 minutes later when, from a Shaquile Coulthirst...

Bizarre drone stoppage allows Crawley time to regroup, find winner

Huish Park was the site of a bizarre drone stoppage on New Year's Day.

Crawley Town benefitted from an extra break when a drone spotted above the pitch delayed their League Two game at Yeovil by about 10 minutes on Monday.

The match was level at 1-1 but the hosts were down to nine men when the officials stopped play in the 80th minute and the players came off after the security breach.

The drone eventually flew off, and after play resumed Crawley were able to find a late winner. Their manager Harry Kewell -- the former Australia star -- said the interruption gave him...

Crawley came from behind to beat nine-man Yeovil 2-1 in a game which was halted when a drone flew over the Huish Park pitch.

The hosts took the lead in the 19th minute when a cross-shot from Olufela Olomola came back off the bar and Sam Surridge followed up to fire past Glenn Morris.

Yeovil then received the first of their red cards when Connor Smith was shown a second yellow and on 44 minutes the scores were level when Mark Randall sent a looping volley into the far corner.

The drama was not over yet...

Enzio Boldewijn netted the winner as 10-man Crawley brought the curtain down on 2017 with a 1-0 victory over Stevenage.

Boldewijn's first-half goal secured Town only their seventh home Sky Bet League Two win in the calendar year, condemning Boro to their eighth successive away defeat.

The midfielder broke the deadlock in the 33rd minute from close range, reacting quickly to force the ball in after goalkeeper Joe Fryer could only parry a long-range shot from Mark Randall.
