Celtic moved to within one win of a sixth successive Ladbrokes Premiership title with a narrow 2-1 victory over battling Dundee at Dens Park.

The Hoops took the lead with the last action of an unremarkable first half, visiting defender Jozo Simunovic's shot deflecting in off Dundee counterpart Kevin Gomis, before in-form midfielder Stuart Armstrong made it 2-0 with a 51st-minute header.

Paul Hartley's men rallied and substitute Faissal El Bakhtaoui made an immediate impact when he came on in the 74th...

St Johnstone took a huge step towards clinching a top-six spot in the Ladbrokes Premiership with a convincing 2-0 win over Dundee at McDiarmid Park.

Paul Paton scored his first goal since signing last summer with a header in the 12th minute before fellow midfielder Blair Alston added a second seven minutes later with a low drive.

The second half was more even but the Dens Park men never looked like preventing Saints winning at home for the first time in four games.

Partick Thistle ended Dundee's impressive four-month unbeaten home record with a 1-0 win in the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership clash at Dens Park.

Alan Archibald's side won thanks to Julen Etxabeguren's 29th minute own goal which was enough to separate the sides on Tayside.

Partick were the last team to win at Dens Park on October 26 and did the same again as they held on against Paul Hartley's team.

Fresh from their 5-1 hammering of Motherwell, Dundee were buoyed by the presence of midfielder Mark...

Motherwell manager Mark McGhee was the subject of half-time protests outside Fir Park after his team shipped five first-half goals against Dundee.

The home team's inexperienced defence was ruthlessly exposed by an offensive Dundee line-up which consolidated sixth place in the Ladbrokes Premiership by following up victory over Rangers with a 5-1 away win, their first on the road since October.

Marcus Haber struck twice, while Mark O'Hara and Craig Wighton also added to Zak Jules' early own goal as Dundee...

Rangers' need for fresh leadership became even more pressing as they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Dundee at Dens Park.

Caretaker boss Graeme Murty was in charge for the second match running following Mark Warburton's exit.

But he was left looking forlorn as goals from Mark O'Hara and Kevin Holt gave the Taysiders their first home win over the Ibrox side in 25 years.

Joe Garner gave Rangers hope after the break but the damage had already been done.

Over a week on from Warburton's exit, the Light Blues...
