Pietro Pellegri's father cries in dugout after Genoa striker's brace vs. Lazio

There were emotional scenes during Genoa's 3-2 defeat to Lazio on Sunday evening when Pietro Pellegri became the youngest player in Serie A history to score two goals in one match.

Aged just 16 years and 184 days old, the prodigious young striker scored both of the Grifone's goals and wrote himself into the history books in the process.

Paulo Dybala scored a hat trick as Juventus fought back from two goals down to beat Genoa 4-2.

Genoa had gone ahead at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in the opening minute when Miralem Pjanic scored an own goal.

And they quickly doubled their advantage when Andrej Galabinov scored from the spot in the seventh minute after Daniele Rugani had given away a penalty.

The comeback began in the 14th minute when Pjanic set up Dybala to score from close range.

Genoa sign defender Luca Rossettini from Torino

Luca Rossettini has played for a number of Italian clubs.

Genoa have signed defender Luca Rossettini from Torino, the Serie A club have announced.

The 32-year-old, who has also played for Padova, Siena, Cagliari and Bologna, could be available for Genoa's opening league fixture at Sassuolo on Sunday.

In a statement on their official website, the Rossoblu said Rossettini passed his medical on Thursday.
