The Sons are missing only Hugh Murray, who has suffered a recurrence of a calf problem.

Goalkeeper Danny Rogers is available again after international duty.

Manager Ian Murray said: "It is another great occasion after the visits from Hearts and Rangers. We took a point from Hearts here and gave Rangers a tough time in the Scottish Cup so we can be confident of getting something against Hibs.

Hibs were unable to force a win despite dominating a 0-0 draw against Queen of the South.

The home team had the better of the play throughout, with Jason Cummings and Scott Allan going close early on.

Allan had a free-kick well saved by Alex Clark but it was defender Paul Hanlon who had the best opportunity of the first period.

Matt Kerr had to be alert to clear Hanlon's header off the line following another Allan set-piece and ensure his side went into the break all-square.

Cowden came close to pulling themselves level five minutes later when Kudus Oyenuga tried his luck from range but his effort sailed wide.

Alim Ozturk saved 10-man Hearts and maintained his side's unbeaten start to the season as his 92nd-minute equaliser sealed a dramatic 1-1 draw with Hibernian at Easter Road.

Dominique Malonga's first-half strike looked as if it would be enough to hand Hibs their first Edinburgh derby success in four attempts.

But Turkish defender Ozturk levelled the match in stunning style at the death as he slammed the ball off the underside of Mark Oxley's crossbar and into the Hibs net to spark wild celebrations...
