Round-up: Victory at last for Bosso as Dembare, CAPS, held

Highlanders ended a three match losing streak with a narrow 1-0 win over Herentals to climb into fifth on the standings, but there was no such respite for Dynamos who fought back to force a 2-2 draw at troubled Shabanie Mine in the Zimbabwe Premier League on Sunday.

Highlanders have struggled to shake off a poor run of form which had seen them register just three wins in 11 matches. Coach Madinda Ndlovu must have feared the worst as his team struggled to impose their play on the visitors...

Giants fall in Zimbabwe Premier League

Troubled giants Dynamos came within seconds of a third consecutive win, only for former son King Nasama to stop the party with a 90th-minute equaliser for Chicken Inn as the headline fixture of matchday 18 ended in a 1-1 stalemate.

It was a weekend of upsets in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League, with top of the table FC Platinum suffering a first home defeat in two years, while second-placed Ngezi Platinum were handed a fourth consecutive loss at Herentals. Bulawayo giants Highlanders also hit...

Ngezi's perfect start ends while Highlanders draw

David Temwanjira grabbed a last-gasp equaliser as Shabanie Mine ended the only remaining 100 percent record in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League by holding log leaders Ngezi Platinum to a 1-1 draw on Sunday.

Ngezi had gone to Mandava Stadium heavily tipped to make it six wins in a row following a flying start to the new campaign, and they looked the part early on as Terrence Dzukamanja put them ahead in the 37th minute after converting a Michael Charamba cross.

Tonderai Ndiraya's troops then missed...

Ngezi, Bosso, CAPS win, but Dynamos falter again

Ngezi Platinum emerged from match-day 5 with their title credentials reinforced after a last-gasp 1-0 win over Chicken Inn, but Highlanders and FC Platinum did their utmost to keep the pressure on the early pace-setters.

Forward Clive Augusto clinched the winner for Ngezi in the final moments of a tightly-contested encounter to enable the Mhondoro-based upstarts to preserve the only remaining 100 percent record in the new Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League season.

Remarkably, Ngezi are yet to concede...

Bosso down Dynamos, Ngezi make it four in a row

Dynamos' troubled start to the new campaign took another nasty turn as they lost 1-0 at home to eternal rivals Highlanders on Monday for a third defeat in four matches in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League.

Striker Ozias Zibande proved the difference after tapping the ball home from close range on the stroke of half-time to cap a dominant first-half display for Highlanders.

The visitors continued to look the more threatening side after the break and could have notched a couple more goals but for...
