Houston Dynamo cancel friendly against Manchester City after flooding

Manchester City's relentless attack against Toronto FC paid off after an incredible strike from City youngster George Evans that gave his side a 1-0 victory in Toronto.

The Houston Dynamo were forced to cancel their friendly against Manchester City on Thursday after match officials deemed the pitch unsafe.

The game at BBVA Compass Stadium could not go forward after extreme flooding in the area earlier this week.

The Dynamo said they will reschedule their charity match for another date this season, but it will be aganist a different opponent.

Manchester City had been set to play their second friendly in two days after defeating Toronto FC 1-0 on Wednesday.

Chicago Fire fight back and grind out a draw courtesy of a 90th-minute Jason Johnson header.

Jason Johnson scored four minutes into stoppage time to give the Chicago Fire a 2-2 draw with the Columbus Crew on Friday night.

In the 94th minute, Eric Gehrig sent a cross into the box, where Johnson was able to head it past Steve Clark.

Erick 'Cubo' Torres says he's innocent after report of abuse complaint

Mexico international Erick 'Cubo' Torres is playing at Chivas on loan from MLS' Houston Dynamo.

Chivas striker Erick "Cubo" Torres has maintained his innocence and vowed to cooperate with authorities in a bid to clear his name following a reported sexual abuse complaint.

Guadalajara newspaper Cancha reported on Saturday that it had seen an official police complaint that accused Torres of misconduct in the early hours of April 23.

Torres, a Mexico international who is loan at Chivas from MLS club Houston Dynamo, defended himself after training on Saturday.
