Inexperienced Federico Bernardeschi may get Juventus chance vs. Fiorentina

Max Allegri has warned his Juventus side not underestimate Fiorentina on Wednesday.

Cutting inside from the left flank, Fiorentina's Federico Chiesa curled a shot with his right foot into the far top corner from the edge of the box. The crowd in the Stadio Artemio Franchi exploded into joy. Chiesa's spectacular goal against Bologna last week looked remarkably like the ones his father and Viola legend Enrico Chiesa used to score.

On Tuesday morning, both the faces of the younger Chiesa and Federico Bernardeschi made it to the front page of Quotidiano Sportivo. Friends...

Young Juventus fan receives Inter Milan shirt ... and is not happy

If you've ever wondered just how deep the rivalry runs between Juventus and Inter Milan fans then look no further.

This home video shows a young Juve fan unwrapping a birthday present, only to find he's been given an Inter shirt by his mischievous parents.

It's not long before the tears begin to roll.

As can be seen, the potential meltdown is quickly prevented when a second present is pulled out of the bag -- a pristine new Juventus away jersey -- which soon perks the youngster up again.

Dybala tops Player Power Rankings; Aguero and Mertens also feature

Diego Valeri cracks the top 10, while another Paulo Dybala hat trick sees him go top of our player power rankings.
Max Allegri praises Gonzalo Higuain for bringing the best out of Paulo Dybala, whose hat trick led Juve past Sassuolo.

ESPN FC's worldwide editorial desks nominate their top performers from the weekend's action. Juventus' hat trick hero is this week's No. 1.

1. Paulo Dybala | Juventus

Why he's here: Scored a hat trick -- his second in Serie A this season -- in a 3-1 win at Sassuolo. Dybala has eight goals from 12 shots on target through four league games.

2. Sergio Aguero | Man City

Why he's here: Another who netted three times at the weekend, Aguero was irresistible in a 6-0 win at Watford and now...

Paulo Dybala bounces back in style with hat trick against Sassuolo

Paulo Dybala celebrates his first goal against Sassuolo.
Paulo Dybala's poor game against Barcelona was answered spectacularly against Sassuolo.

One thing we can say about Paulo Dybala is that if he does feel disappointed at his performances -- and he probably should have been mighty dejected after that second half against Barcelona in the Champions League -- he's not somebody who lets it affect him the next time he steps on the pitch.

Dybala was exceptional in Sunday's 3-1 stomping of Sassuolo, scoring a hat trick. Critics may say that it's all well and good, but the fact is he fluffed his last two appearances on the really big stage --...

Dybala hat trick erases Barca disappointment as Juve beat Sassuolo

Paulo Dybala scored a fine hat trick as Juventus responded to their Champions League disappointment by beating Sassuolo.
Paulo Dybala scored a fine hat trick as Juventus responded to their Champions League disappointment by beating Sassuolo.

Juventus bounced back from their midweek defeat to Barcelona in the Champions League to defeat Sassuolo 3-1 on Sunday, with Paulo Dybala grabbing his second hat trick of the season.

Professional and effective, Juventus controlled the game and played with a certain level of fluency to guarantee a positive result. While their defence still looks to be a cause for concern, the attack did enough to secure another Serie A win to stay at the top of the table.

Paulo Dybala, Juventus still licking their wounds ahead of trip to Sassuolo

After their opening-round loss to Barca, the FC panel place part of the blame on Dybala's lacklustre showing for Juventus.
Steve Nicol says Gonzalo Higuain didn't receive enough support from his teammates to be effective against Barcelona on Tuesday.
Craig Burley explains how Lionel Messi turned the tables on Juventus after the Serie A champions had him pinned down for most of the first half.

Many were quick to hail Paulo Dybala after his performances in Serie A this season. Scoring goals and inspiring play with his mere presence, La Joya was living up to the expectations one has of a player donning the No.10 jersey for Juventus.

And then there were the sceptics. Those who felt that while the Argentine's talent can never be doubted, his mental strength could. When it comes to the big occasions, Dybala has performed inconsistently. Against Milan in the Supercoppa last year, he...
