With his 40th birthday now come and gone and the joints beginning to creak, it would appear that Gianluigi Buffon is beginning to prepare for a career beyond football.

Indeed, the veteran Juventus goalkeeper shared a photo on Instagram of himself in a recording booth along with the intriguing caption: "Coming soon."

If there's any justice in the world, then we're about to be treated to Gigi's debut pop single, which would presumably be a haunting power ballad about keeping clean sheets, etc.

Alex Sandro nets 7/10 for Juventus after Gonzalo Higuain injury

Gonzalo Higuain was forced off after just 15 minutes, but Alex Sandro's lone goal held up as Juve inflicted more derby heartbreak on Torino.
Max Allegri highlights the lessons Juventus learned from their Champions League draw with Tottenham as keys to their Turin derby win over rivals Torino.

Alex Sandro scored the only goal of the game in the Derby della Mole as Juventus defeated Torino 1-0 to earn all three points.

While Torino started well, looking to profit from any Juve mistakes, they soon faded. Juventus lost Gonzalo Higuain to injury early in the game and were forced to play without a reference point but soon took control of the game. Their character and ability to control when not pressed and harried allowed them to take the advantage.

Predictable, slow and void of intensity,...

Juventus still licking their wounds heading into derby showdown with Torino

Massimiliano Allegri got angry at his team's critics after the 2-2 draw with Tottenham in the Champions League.
The FC crew pinpoint how Tottenham were able to turn around an early 2-0 deficit at Juventus and gain the advantage in their Champions League tie ahead of the second leg.

Perspective is a funny thing. Manchester City have the most expensive squad in Europe, yet their fans would be happy to just be competing in the final stages of the Champions League. Juventus sell a star every summer and yet nothing short of another final and a win this year would silence the critics.

The Bianconeri drew with Tottenham Hotspur 2-2 in their last match. It's a pity after having gone 2-0 up within 10 minutes. Is it disappointing? Absolutely. But is it disastrous? No. The fact Juventus...

Juventus' Federico Bernardeschi celebrates birthday with massive cake

There are birthday cakes, and then there are birthday cakes.

Federico Bernardeschi certainly found the right one when celebrating his 24th birthday on Friday, posing with a three-tiered, appropriately striped black-and-white cake -- one topped off by cupcakes, a pair of ceramic bulldogs and, naturally, a trio of fireworks.

"Happy birthday to me!" Bernardeschi wrote, preferring to let the cake speak for itself.

Happy birthday to me! #fedesbirthday #rockngoal 🎂🍾🤟🏻

Spurs deserve praise for comeback, but Juve are no strangers to adversity

The FC crew pinpoint how Tottenham were able to turn around an early 2-0 deficit at Juventus and gain the advantage in their Champions League tie ahead of the second leg.
Massimiliano Allegri got angry at his team's critics after the 2-2 draw with Tottenham in the Champions League.

Daniele celebrated Juventus' goals in a bar on Tuesday night. They're his team after all. But before the game he felt conflicted. "My heart is divided in two," he told the Corriere Torino. Daniele believes it is "very probable" he is related to Mauricio Pochettino. They share the same surname and on Monday he drove into town to pay the Tottenham manager a visit at Turin's Golden Palace hotel.

The family tree isn't complete and the paperwork needs verifying. "It's a long job," Daniele admitted....

Juventus to move for Arsenal's Jack Wilshere with Emre Can move stalled

Clubs are slowly turning their eyes toward the summer window, and Transfer Talk has the updates on all the latest rumours.

Juventus chase Wilshere

Italian giants Juventus have contacted Jack Wilshere's representatives about a potential switch to Turin in the summer, according to the Daily Mirror.

The midfielder's contract expires at the end of the season, with Arsenal currently offering him a new deal on reduced wages.

Although it looks like Wilshere will eventually decide to stay at the Emirates...
