Giovani dos Santos hopeful of second chance with Mexico national team

The ESPN FC panel discuss whether or not Giovani dos Santos should have rejected his call-up to play in the Copa America.

LA Galaxy forward Giovani dos Santos isn't regretting his omission from Mexico's squad for the team's disastrous Copa America Centenario, but he is hoping to return to El Tri.

The 27-year-old's name was left off Mexico's squad for the June tournament, with coach Juan Carlo Osorio suggesting it was the player's decision.

Asked on ESPN's SportsCenter if he had any regrets about his no-show, former Barcelona player Dos Santos' answer was a brief "no."

But that doesn't necessarily mean it is the end...
