Giovani dos Santos sits down with SportsCenter's Diana Russini to talk about his move to MLS and his absence from El Tri.

Los Angeles Galaxy forward Giovani dos Santos and Real Sociedad's Carlos Vela have been left out of coach Juan Carlos Osorio's first Mexico squad since El Tri crashed out of the Copa America with a 7-0 loss to Chile at the quarterfinal stage.

Dos Santos and Vela missed out on the summer tournament and are once again sidelined, even with strikers Javier Hernandez and Oribe Peralta both missing the World Cup qualifying games against El Salvador away (Sept. 3) and Honduras at home (Sept. 7) due to injury.

Richard Chaplow banned two games for verbal abuse of Robbie Rogers

LA Galaxy's first trip to Yankee Stadium was a forgettable one, as David Villa pushed NYCFC past the visitors.
Robbie Rogers was the target of abuse in a recent match against USL side Orange County Blues.

The United Soccer League announced on Wednesday it has suspended Orange County Blues midfielder Richard Chaplow two games and fined him an undisclosed amount for directing what it termed "offensive and abusive language" towards LA Galaxy defender Robbie Rogers.

The decision concludes a three-day investigation by the USL's Disciplinary Committee over what took place during last Saturday's match between the Blues and the Galaxy's reserve side, LA Galaxy II. The investigation included a video review,...
