Marseille returned to the top of the Ligue 1 standings thanks to a 3-1 victory over Bordeaux on Sunday.

Paris St Germain had gone top on Friday with a 3-2 away win at Metz, but goals from Mario Lemina, Andre-Pierre Gignac and Michy Batshuayi gave OM the victory after Bordeaux had gone ahead through Thomas Toure in the 54th minute.

The result put Marseille one point clear of PSG at the top with Bordeaux slipping to fifth.

Didier Drogba, Samir Nasri sales not in Marseille probe, says Pape Diouf

Former Marseille president Pape Diouf has told RMC he was not asked about the transfers of Samir Nasri and Didier Drogba from the Ligue 1 club after being arrested by police.

Along with current OM president Vincent Labrune, Diouf was among a number of figures linked to the club arrested on Tuesday as part of an investigation into alleged illegal payments made on transfers, notably that of Andre-Pierre Gignac from Toulouse to Marseille in 2010.

Marseille sales of Didier Drogba, Samir Nasri may be investigated in France

After winning the 2012 UEFA Champions League with Chelsea, Didier Drogba seeks another title in his homecoming season with the West London club.
Drogba and Nasri, pictured playing against each other in 2010, both moved to England from Marseille in big-money transfers.

The deals which brought Didier Drogba and Samir Nasri from Marseille to Chelsea and Arsenal respectively could be scrutinised as part of the investigation which led to several arrests on Tuesday, according to reports in France.

Current OM president Vincent Labrune, and his two predecessors, Jean-Claude Dassier and Pape Diouf, are among around a dozen people being questioned by police over commission and alleged illicit payments made on transfers involving the Ligue 1 outfit.
