Millwall boss Neil Harris wants no fan trouble at Wembley

Millwall will be at Wembley on Sunday for their League One Playoff against Barnsley.

Millwall boss Neil Harris does not want a repeat of the ugly scenes which ruined their last trip to Wembley.

The Lions reached the FA Cup semifinal in 2013 but their big day against Wigan was marred by fans fighting amongst themselves in the stands.

They head back to the national stadium on Sunday for the League One playoff final against Barnsley with Harris calling for a hostile -- but trouble-free -- atmosphere.

"My message to the fans is enjoy themselves, and bring the atmosphere that they brought...

Lee Gregory kept Millwall on course for an immediate return to the Championship.

The striker bagged his 27th goal of the season to set the Lions on their way to a 4-2 aggregate win over Bradford in the play-off semi-final.

Jamie Proctor made it 1-1 on the night just before half-time, but Bradford failed to stage a second-half revival.

Millwall boss Neil Harris, who could not save them from the drop last year, now has the chance to secure promotion in his first full season in charge.

The Lions' record...

Millwall took a big step towards Wembley by coming from behind to win 3-1 at Bradford in the first leg of their Sky Bet League One play-off semi-final.

First-half goals from Lee Gregory, Steve Morison and Joe Martin turned the tie in the Lions' favour ahead of Friday's return game after the Bantams had taken the lead through Tony McMahon's early penalty.

There was a raucous atmosphere inside Valley Parade all afternoon, although it was temporarily subdued ahead of kick-off by an emotional minute-long...

Lee Gregory's last-gasp penalty ensured a 2-1 victory and a fourth-placed finish for 10-man Millwall in Sky Bet League One, as Gillingham's play-offs hopes ended.

Results elsewhere and a run of eight games without a win condemned Gillingham to ninth while Millwall will travel to Bradford in the play-offs following Gregory's intervention.

The opening exchanges saw little goalmouth action but Stuart Nelson kept the scores level on 22 minutes with a spectacular double save, first from Aiden O'Brien, and...

FA to probe Millwall for fan striking Oldham's Anthony Gerrard

The Football Association will investigate reports that Oldham defender Anthony Gerrard was struck by a Millwall fan on Saturday.

Oldham lost 3-0 as Millwall secured a League One play-off place at The Den.

There was a pitch invasion at the final whistle and Gerrard said on his personal Twitter account on Saturday night that a Millwall fan gave him a "dig," before saying his "five-year-old hits harder."

Gerrard added: "These Millwall fans are comedy gold! They're very brave in the stands and on [Twitter]....
