Ian Henderson's late penalty saw Rochdale beat 10-man Millwall 3-2 win at The Den.

Callum Camps' well-taken early strike from 12 yards was cancelled out two minutes later by Millwall striker Aiden O'Brien's close-range finish.

It was Gregory who doubled the Lions' tally to give them the lead before the break, coolly slotting his penalty down the middle on his 100th appearance.

Keith Hill's men improved after the break and grabbed an equaliser through Calvin Andrew's powerful header after a superb free...

Southend surged to their first home league win of the season with a 3-1 victory against Millwall.

The Shrimpers headed into the game with just one win in their first seven outings but they roared back to winning ways with a convincing performance.

They went in front after just six minutes when Jermaine McGlashan's low left-wing cross was neatly controlled by David Mooney before the striker turned to fire home, via the aid of a deflection, from eight yards.

However, Millwall hit back to equalise in...

Aiden O'Brien's second-half tap-in denied Coventry their first win of the season in a 1-1 draw at Millwall.

The home side had early chances, David Worrall heading over from Joe Martin's cross, while Byron Webster wasted an opportunity from a Worrall corner inside the first 15 minutes.

But Coventry led after 22 minutes through Marvin Sordell's first goal for the club.

The forward showed strength under pressure to swivel and fire home from 25 yards for only the Sky Blues' third league goal this term.

Bradford missed the chance to go top of the Sky Bet League One table as Joe Martin earned Millwall a 1-1 draw at The Den.

With table-toppers Bolton being held by Southend, unbeaten Bradford would have ended the day top with victory over Millwall.

But despite going ahead through a Byron Webster own goal, they could not hold on, with the hosts levelling shortly after half-time through Martin's powerful strike.

The Lions made the brighter start with Steve Morison's cross gathered by the outstretched Colin...

Nottingham Forest are through to the third round of the EFL Cup after Lars Veldwijk's emphatic late finish saw the visitors beat Millwall 2-1.

Jamie Paterson slotted home to put Forest ahead, before Shaun Williams scored from 50 yards to give Millwall hope.

But Veldwijk fired into the bottom corner with extra-time looming.

Forest broke the deadlock on 35 minutes when Paterson fired in on the rebound after Veldwijk's header was saved by Tom King.

The Lions ought to have equalised in first-half injury...
