NYCFC have signed Brazilian striker Heber from Croatian side HNK Rijeka, the club announced Thursday. 

The 27-year-old joined Rijeka in 2017 where he had 27 goals and 13 assists in 52 appearances. Prior to his time in Croatia, Heber featured in the Armenian Premier League, where he was the league's top goalscorer in 2015-16 while playing for Alashkert.

Carlos Vela scored his second goal of the game on a penalty kick in the 76th minute as visiting Los Angeles FC remained unbeaten by rallying for a 2-2 draw over winless New York City FC on Sunday afternoon at Yankee Stadium.
