Minnesota United's defensive struggles continue in loss at New England

Minnesota's early season woes continue to mount, as they conceded another bevy of goals from a high octane Revolution side.

Minnesota United's rough introduction to Major League Soccer continued on Saturday as the expansion club lost 5-2 to the New England Revolution.

Minnesota, which played in the NASL last year, has allowed 18 goals while only managing one draw through its first four games this season.

Luis Robles is set to start for the New York Red Bulls against Real Salt Lake on Saturday and continue his MLS-record "Iron Man" streak. Robles holds the record for consecutive games started, after surpassing Chris Klein's mark of 141 when he took the field against the Colorado Rapids on March 11.

But as he looks across the field at the RSL goal, he might reflect that this is actually the last place he wants to be.

Robles got a call into the United States national team camp in January, and with...

New York Red Bulls' Marsch to miss training for UEFA coaching course

Mark Donaldson and Herculez Gomez break down the MLS power rankings after week 3, with undefeated Portland atop the list.

New York Red Bulls manager Jesse Marsch will miss team training in order to begin a UEFA coaching course this week.

"We fully support Jesse taking these courses. Our staff is fully capable of sharing the workload this week," Red Bulls sporting director Denis Hamlett said on Wednesday.
