Under-pressure Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew spoke of his side's resilience after going 0-2 down to Hull City.

Embattled Newcastle manager Alan Pardew thanked the large portions of fans who declined to join in some early jeering before the Magpies rallies for a 2-2 draw with Hull on Saturday.

The Magpies were trailing 2-0 to Hull at St James' Park with just 21 minutes remaining  Papiss Cisse was introduced as a substitute in his first action since suffering a fractured kneecap in March.
