Wolves goalkeeper Carl Ikeme saw red as a controversial penalty helped Norwich to a hard-fought 3-1 win at Carrow Road.

The match was in the balance at 1-1 entering the final 20 minutes when defender Matt Doherty was harshly punished for bringing down Wes Hoolan with the slightest of touches in the area.

Ikeme was then sent off for angrily pushing Hoolahan to the ground and with Paul Lambert having used all three of his substitutes Doherty had to go in goal and was promptly beaten by an expertly taken...

A number of clubs have shown an interest in Brady, with Leicester City, Newcastle United and Aston Villa all linked with moves for the Republic of Ireland international.

Shane Long spared Southampton's blushes by bundling the Premier League side past Norwich in a last-gasp 1-0 win in Wednesday's FA Cup third round replay.

Norwich goalkeeper Michael McGovern parried the Republic of Ireland striker's last-ditch close-range header, only for Long to force the rebound home.

The underwhelming Saints struggled for rhythm all night, but finally squeezed past Championship outfit Norwich inside normal time, after the 2-2 draw at Carrow Road on January 7.

Swansea City complete move for Norwich defender Martin Olsson

Martin Olsson v Ireland
Sweden defender Martin Olsson has left Norwich to move to Swansea.

Swansea City have completed the signing of defender Martin Olsson from Norwich City for an undisclosed fee.

Olsson, 28, relegated from the Premier League with the Canaries last season, has put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half year deal.

New manager Paul Clement, whose Swans are currently bottom of the table, has brought in the Sweden international as he looks to strengthen a defence that has leaked goals all season.

Paul Warne celebrated becoming Rotherham manager until the end of the season by masterminding a surprise 2-1 win over his hometown club.

Warne, who has been interim boss at the struggling Millers since November, watched on as goals from Jerry Yates and Tom Adeyemi downed the 10-men Canaries for just a fourth win of the season.

Rotherham are now nine points from safety and will hope that this can be the catalyst for an unlikely fight against the drop in the second half of the season.
