Orlando City slams 'absurd' penalty decision in loss to Columbus Crew

The FC crew examine the penalty awarded in Columbus' win over Orlando, including the absence of VAR and whether the officials should be disciplined.

Petrescu signalled twice that he was listening to the video assistant referee for a potential review, but ultimately did not consult the pitchside...

Wil Trapp scored his first goal since 2014, a stunning 35-yarder in the second minute of second-half stoppage time, as the Columbus Crew rallied for 3-2 victory against visiting Orlando City on Saturday.

Trapp has two goals in 145 MLS matches. The other came Sept. 13, 2014, versus the Houston Dynamo.

Gyasi Zardes scored twice, including the tying penalty kick in the 88th minute, for the Crew, who ended a two-game losing streak.

Sacha Kljestan scored and had an assist and Stefano Pinho put Orlando...
