Western Sydney and Adelaide set for Spanish-themed A-League Grand Final

After a slow start to the season, Adelaide United are Premier Plate holders and have home advantage for the Grand Final against Western Sydney.

History will be made in the A-League this weekend as Adelaide United and Western Sydney Wanderers contest the Grand Final on Sunday. Neither team has won the championship before, but either would be a worthy winner.

Perth Glory's Diego Castro beats Melbourne City duo to A-League award

Diego Castro joined Perth Glory from Getafe in the summer.

Perth Glory winger Diego Castro has won the top individual honour in Australia's A-League.

Castro earned 34 votes, one clear of Aaron Mooy and seven ahead of Bruno Fornaroli, both of Melbourne City.
