Andres Guardado could play Copa America, Olympics - Mexico's Cantu

PSV dropped the Dutch Eredivisie trophy while celebrating their surprising triumph on the final day of the season.

PSV Eindhoven midfielder Andres Guardado is still under consideration as one of the three over-23 players for Mexico's Olympic team this summer, Mexico federation general secretary Guillermo Cantu said.

The Mexico captain was included in the initial 40-man squad for next month's Copa America, and because PSV will automatically be in the Champions League group stage, they are likely to allow him to play in both summer tournaments -- the Copa America and the Olympics.

PSV Eindhoven pip Ajax to win Dutch title in dramatic finale

PSV Eindhoven celebrate their title success.

PSV Eindhoven retained the Eredivisie title after a dramatic final day saw them win 3-1 away to PEC Zwolle as rivals Ajax were held to a surprise 1-1 draw at relegation battlers De Graafschap.

Ajax went into Sunday's matches top of the table with a superior goal difference and would have been sure of a 34th Dutch championship with victory in Doetinchem over a team in 17th place.

PSV claimed a dramatic Eredivisie title on the final day as Ajax failed to win at De Graafshap.
