Mexico's Carlos 'Gullit' Pena in talks with Rangers - agent

Carlos Gullit Pena
Carlos Pena spent last season on loan at Leon but is still a Chivas player.

Mexico midfielder Carlos "Gullit" Pena is in talks about a move to Scottish giant Rangers, according to the player's agent.

Pena spent last season on loan at Liga MX side Leon, but the 27-year-old is still a Chivas player.

"There are a couple of options," Pena's agent Salvador Necochea told ESPN Mexico's Ivan Canada on Thursday. "The strongest is Rangers, but we are still in talks. The negotiation hasn't been 100 percent sealed."

The agent added that Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha has been a fan...

Rangers spared themselves one last dose of anguish as they brought the curtain down on a season to forget with a 2-1 win over St Johnstone in Perth.

Kenny Miller and Jon Toral put the Light Blues two up before Graham Cummins sparked a nervy final quarter-hour when he pulled one back for Tommy Wright's team.

But the final-day win will still be little consolation to the beleaguered Ibrox faithful, who started the season expecting their team to challenge Celtic for the Ladbrokes Premiership title only...

Derek McInnes' Aberdeen rubbed salt into Rangers' wounds as a 2-1 win saw them triumph at Ibrox for the first time in quarter of a century.

A day after the Dons boss told Gers they should be ``embarrassed'' at only finishing third, his side gave another stark illustration of the improvements the Light Blues have yet to make.

The Pittodrie side were sharper all over the pitch and claimed their first victory in Govan since September 1991 with goals from Graeme Shinnie and Ryan Christie.

Joe Garner and Barrie McKay were Rangers' goals heroes for the second week running in a 2-1 Ladbrokes Premiership win over 10-man Hearts at Ibrox.

Striker Garner, who had scored a late winner in the 2-1 vitcory over Partick Thistle last week, headed the home side ahead in the seventh minute before Jambos defender Prince Buaben was given a straight red card by referee Bobby Madden in the 26th minute for preventing Josh Windass going clear through on goal.

Striker Esmael Goncalves levelled six minutes...

Chelsea to sign 15-year-old Billy Gilmour from Rangers in the summer

Antonio Conte said Chelsea's loss to Man United was the lowest point of his season.

Chelsea have reached an agreement with Rangers to sign 15-year-old midfielder Billy Gilmour this summer.

Gilmour, a member of Rangers' under-16s side, has yet to make his senior debut but will join up with Chelsea ahead of the 2017-18 campaign.

Rangers had wanted to keep hold of the youngster -- who had attracted interested from across Europe -- but agreed to let him move after he made clear of his wish to play in the Premier League.

"Rangers can confirm that agreement has been reached for our under-16...
