Real Sociedad striker Carlos Vela has pledged to give his all over the coming months before leaving for MLS franchise Los Angeles FC.

LAFC announced that the Mexico international will join their club on Jan. 1, 2018 and the player confirmed the news on Twitter, while showing a photo of himself wearing the LA FC colours.

LAFC's first designated player, Carlos Vela, says the up-and-coming club's appeal enticed his long-contemplated move to MLS.

Los Angeles FC manager Bob Bradley says he intends to build his team around Mexico international striker Carlos Vela.

Los Angeles FC completed a deal to sign Mexico attacker Carlos Vela from Real Sociedad on Tuesday.

The Spanish club said a deal in principle had been agreed earlier for Vela to join the MLS expansion club in 2018, before the player posted a video of himself in an LAFC hat and jacket.
