Goran Bunjevcevic spent five seasons at Tottenham.

Former Tottenham defender Goran Bunjevcevic has died aged 45.

Bunjevcevic's former club Red Star Belgrade confirmed the news on their website. The club said he suffered an aneurysm in May.

"With sadness, we report that Goran Bunjevcevic, former Crvena Zvezda captain and director of football, has passed away on 28 June 2018. He was 45 years old," the statement read.

Jiangsu Suning complete Richmond Boakye signing

Jiangsu Suning have completed the signing of Ghana international Richmond Boakye from Red Star Belgrade.

Red Star Belgrade's appeal against the stadium ban has been accepted by UEFA.

Red Star Belgrade have won their appeal against UEFA's decision to make them play their next Europa League game behind closed doors as punishment for their fans

Last November, UEFA sanctioned the Serbian team with a stadium ban and a €50,000 fine as punishment for its fans showing support for war criminal Ratko Mladic.
