Nick Rimando stood strong in net for Real Salt Lake, but a deflected goal by Harry Shipp earned Seattle all three points.

Harry Shipp scored on a well-struck shot that was deflected into goal in the 42nd minute as the Seattle Sounders snapped a three-game losing streak on Saturday with a 1-0 win against Real Salt Lake.
