Bob Bradley should be given time to improve Swansea - David Moyes

Swansea City manager Bob Bradley says he is good at shutting out criticism as he focuses on preparing for Sunderland.

Sunderland boss David Moyes thinks heads should roll in Swansea's boardroom if doubts already exist about their American manager Bob Bradley.

Saturday's game between the relegation strugglers is crucial to both sides' survival prospects, but while the teams will not know their fate until much later in the season, the same is not true of Bradley.

The 58-year-old has only been in the job for seven matches but a haul of five points has left the Swans bottom of the division and made him favourite to...

Swansea City manager Bob Bradley says he is good at shutting out criticism as he focuses on preparing for Sunderland.

Swansea manager Bob Bradley admits his team will be relegated if they continue to ship goals at the current rate they are flying in.

The Welsh side tackle fellow strugglers Sunderland at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday and there is no getting away from the statistics showing they have the worst defence in the Premier League, letting in a league-high 31 already.

Nineteen of those have come in the seven games Bradley has overseen since succeeding Francesco Guidolin at the start of October.

Manchester United's critical clash with Spurs, rampant Chelsea host WBA

Rio Ferdinand tells ESPN FC that Manchester United's top four hopes are not over yet.
Rio Ferdinand tells ESPN FC that Manchester United's top four hopes are not over yet.

Defeat for Manchester United in Sunday's clash with Tottenham would not only all-but end their slim title hopes, their chances of finishing in the top four would be in serious jeopardy.

Losing to Mauricio Pochettino's men would send Jose Mourinho's side nine points adrift of Spurs, who will start the game fifth.

Elsewhere, rampant Chelsea host high-flying West Brom while troubled West Ham, hammered 5-1 against Arsenal last week, visit Anfield with Liverpool still reeling from last Sunday's...

After a long road back, revitalised Anichebe nearing Nigeria return

Victor Anichebe inspired Sunderland to a first league win on Saturday.
Victor Anichebe has been in great form for Sunderland, scoring three goals in six appearances for David Moyes' side.

It was June 2011. Nigeria were in Addis Ababa playing Ethiopia with two more games of the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers to go.

Guinea were top of the group, and had just beaten Madagascar 4-1 and the Super Eagles needed a result ahead of their next game away to Madagascar in order to take the race to the final game in Abuja, where they would face the Guineans in a win or bust match later that October.

Ike Uche had given Nigeria the lead, but the hosts came storming back to score twice...

Swansea trip a test of Sunderland's survival credentials in the Prem

Sunderland boss David Moyes says his side have a long way to go in their battle to stay up.

Sunderland face an afternoon of high tension when they visit Swansea on Saturday for an important new test of their ability to haul themselves out of trouble.

Although victories in three of the past four games have restored faith in David Moyes' side, such was the damage inflicted by the earlier winless run that defeat at the Liberty Stadium could send see them back to the bottom of the Premier League in their opponents' place.

Swansea collapsed to a 5-0 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur last weekend...
