Mike van der Hoorn would help bolster Swansea's back line

Defender Mike van der Hoorn would added some needed heighth to the Swansea back line.

While Wales continue to surprise on the international stage at Euro 2016, it's business as usual at club level. Swansea manager Francesco Guidolin is slowly re-shaping his squad, first allowing unsettled striker Alberto Paloschi to return to Italy and now making a move for Ajax defender Mike van der Hoorn, with the Dutch club and Swansea reportedly having finalised a deal for the 23-year-old. With only personal terms to work out between the player and club, the arrival of the centre-back is imminent.

Swansea City striker Alberto Paloschi to move to Atalanta in July

Swansea City have confirmed that striker Alberto Paloschi will join Italian club Atalanta for an undisclosed fee.

Paloschi, who moved to the Liberty Stadium from Chievo Verona in the January transfer window, scored twice in 10 Premier League appearances, against Tottenham and Stoke, for the Swans.

Premier League 2016-17 season opens with Arsenal-Liverpool, Hull-Leicester

The highlights of the Premier League fixture list, including the big derbies, managerial debuts and a tasty opening day.

Arsenal will host Liverpool on the first weekend of the 2016-17 season in August, while Leicester City will begin their title defence with a trip to Hull City on their return to the top flight.

Landon Donovan set to become Swansea shareholder - sources

Landon Donovan speaks from the Heineken ESPN FC Boot Room about the United States' chances at the Copa America Centenario.

Former United States international Landon Donovan is in advanced negotiations to join the American consortium buying majority control of Premier League side Swansea City, according to industry sources.

Sources told ESPN that Donovan is set to become a minority shareholder and partner in the group led by Memphis Grizzlies vice chairman Steve Kaplan and D.C. United managing general partner Jason Levien that recently struck a deal to secure a controlling interest in Swansea City.
