Santos Laguna eliminate Club America, book spot in Liga MX final

Santos Laguna knocked out Club America in the semifinal of the 2018 Clausura on Sunday and will face Toluca in the Liga MX final.

Santos drew 2-2 in Estadio Azteca, but overcame America 6-3 on aggregate, having won 4-1 in last Thursday's first leg.

The final is likely to be played at Santos Laguna's Estadio Corona on Thursday, with the return leg Sunday in Toluca's Estadio Nemesio Diez on Thursday. Liga MX will confirm the times on Monday.

Uribe fires hat trick as Toluca beats Tijuana to reach Clausura final

Three goals from Colombian forward Fernando Uribe helped Toluca secure a 4-1 victory over 9-man Club Tijuana on Sunday and earn a place in the Liga MX 2018 Clausura final for the top seed following a 5-4 aggregate win.

Toluca went into the second leg 2-1 behind from Thursday's first leg, but dominated against a Tijuana team that saw Luis Mendoza sent off in the 37th and Miller Bolanos follow him in the 61st.

TIJUANA -- Let's be clear: Thursday night's 2-1 win for Tijuana over Toluca is massive.
