AC Milan to loan midfielder Jose Sosa to Trabzonspor for the season

Jose Sosa will return to play in Turkey for a second time.

Trabzonspor have agreed a deal to sign Argentine midfielder Jose Sosa from AC Milan.

The 32-year-old made 18 Serie A appearances for the Rossoneri last season but a summer of reinforcement across the squad at San Siro, with 11 new first-team players signed, has limited his opportunities in Milan.

The Turkish club said Sosa was in talks to return to the Super Lig, in which the former Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid man previously competed as a Besiktas player.

Sources have told ESPN FC that Pochettino will listen to offers for the France international midfielder, who has four...

But Trabzonspor chief Muharrem Usta believes his club could lure the Belgian away this summer,...

Hakan Calhanoglu will miss the rest of the season for Bayer Leverkusen.

Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu will serve a four-month ban imposed by FIFA for breach of contract.

The 22-year-old Turkey international must also pay €100,000 in compensation to Turkish club Trabzonspor, for whom he agreed to sign as a teenager, the Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled on Thursday.

Calhanoglu was a youth player at Karlsruher when he was paid €100,000 after agreeing to sign for Trabzonspor in the future. But he never joined the club, instead extending his...
