BERLIN -- Borussia Dortmund were held 0-0 by draw specialist Wolfsburg on Sunday after leaving out Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from their squad for "disciplinary reasons" for the second time this season.
Dortmund announced the decision to drop their star striker before the Bundesliga game, but neither the 17-year-old Jadon Sancho nor 18-year-old Alexander Isak proved an adequate replacement.
Dortmund had 19 efforts on goal compared to the visitors' nine.
Divock Origi says he could imagine staying with Wolfsburg beyond the terms of his current season-long loan from Liverpool.

Mario Gomez has rejoined former club Stuttgart from Bundesliga rivals Wolfsburg.
Gomez, 32, played his youth football at Stuttgart from the age of 16 and went on to win the Bundesliga in 2007 with the club -- the year he also picked up the German Footballer of the Year award.
"I'm very happy to be back where it all started for me," Gomez told Stuttgart's official website. "I have sensed especially in the last few days how much I wanted to return to Stuttgart -- to the club where I learnt my trade.
