The games will be played on the weekend of July 25-26

Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis told the club website: "We are delighted to be able to confirm three leading European club teams for this year's Emirates Cup. Lyon,...

Malaga's European hopes suffered a blow with a 2-1 loss at Villarreal on Sunday.

Substitute Gerard Moreno scored twice in the final eight minutes for the hosts and though Sergi Darder pulled one back in injury time, there was no way back for Malaga.

And they dropped to eighth in the Primera Division table as Athletic Bilbao staged a late rally to win 3-2 at Elche.

Malaga started the match brightly and Nordin Amrabat saw an early shot blocked before threading in Javi Guerra for a six-yard effort across...

Villarreal secured sixth position in the Primera Division after scraping past Elche 1-0 at El Madrigal.

Joel Campbell's goal after 26 minutes secured a Europa League spot for Marcelinho's side, and leaves them eight points clear of their nearest challengers with just two games to go.

Campbell gave the Yellow Submarine a first-half lead when he capitalised on an error to nod in at the back post for his first goal since joining the club on loan from Arsenal in January.

Deportivo La Coruna and Villarreal played out a 1-1 draw on Saturday night, with the visitors the happier of the two with the outcome.

Villarreal, chasing a European spot, edged further ahead in sixth thanks to their share, with Jaume Costa having put them ahead.

Deportivo remain in the bottom three, though, and this point - earned by Celso Borges equaliser - puts them a point closer to safety but they will consider this two points dropped in their bid to stay up.

Desperate for the victory, Depor started...
