Wilfried Bony scored the winner as Swansea earned a morale-boosting 2-1 win over Wolves in the FA Cup.

Jordan Ayew opened the scoring in the third-round replay and although Wolves substitute Diogo Jota levelled the scores, Bony came up with the winner to ensure the home side secured a tie at League Two promotion contenders Notts...

Leaders Wolves had to settle for a Sky Bet Championship point as they were held to a 0-0 draw by struggling Barnsley.

Helder Costa and Diogo Jota had goals ruled out for offside in each half, whilst the latter also missed a glorious chance late on which would have seen the visitors snatch all three points.

Barnsley were able to hold on for a point though, as they continued a run of unbeaten matches which now stretches to four in the league.

Romain Saiss carved out the game's first opportunity in the...

Rafa Mir: Four Real Madrid offers turned down before Wolves move

ESPN FC's Sid Lowe believes Real Madrid's inability to achieve results in La Liga is taking a mental toll on the players.
Zinedine Zidane says he is trying to identify the problems Real Madrid are facing, but admits some mistakes are hard to comprehend.
After Real Madrid's draw at Celta Vigo, the FC crew identify the issues that have seen the reigning La Liga winners fall 16 points off the top.

Rafa Mir says Valencia turned down four offers from Real Madrid to acquire his services before he joined Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 20-year-old was widely expected to join Real Madrid this month but was instead sold to the Championship-title chasers last week for an undisclosed fee, reportedly in the region of €2 million.

Mir, who signed a contract until June 2022 with Wolves, told Cadena Ser Valencia: "They [Valencia] turned down three or four offers from Real Madrid for me and on the other...

Wolves were unable to claim another Premier League scalp in the FA Cup as their third round tie against Swansea at Molineux finished goalless and 10 aside.

Wanderers have an impressive record against top-flight opposition in the past 12 months, having won at Stoke and Liverpool in the FA Cup last season. Nuno Espirito Santo's runaway Championship leaders have also beaten Southampton this campaign in the Carabao Cup and took Manchester City all the way to penalties in the same competition.

Hopes were...
