Liverpool's Adam Lallana has played down recent speculation linking him with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the England international emphasised that manager Jurgen Klopp has played a significant role in turning his Liverpool career around after a slow start, and that "the thought of leaving Liverpool has never entered my mind."

He added: "I love it here at the minute, especially since the manager has come in. We have each other's trust and you do not always get that at clubs."

Samuel Eto'o has opened the door to a potential move to Marseille, but has said his wife will have the final say.

Eto'o, 35, is currently with Turkish club Antalyaspor, the 11th senior club of his 19-year career that has also seen him ply his trade in Spain, Italy, England and Russia.

Nice sweep aside Toulouse to return to top of Ligue 1; Marseille beat Nancy

Nice dominated the match from start to finish as they cruised to a 3-0 victory over Toulouse.

Nice returned to the top of Ligue 1 after comfortably overcoming Toulouse 3-0 at home.

Lucien Favre's men grabbed the lead through a 23rd-minute strike from Alassane Plea, who had latched onto a long ball forward from Dante.

Dante then produced a similar delivery three minutes later which Younes Belhanda took on with a delightful touch before finishing superbly from outside the box, lifting the ball over goalkeeper Alban Lafont.
