Hannover, who were relegated from the Bundesliga last season, say Martin Bader and sporting director Christian Moeckel have been let go "with immediate effect."

Supervisory board members decided "the club's sporting leadership needs to be changed" to secure their immediate top-flight return.

Julian Green to use Bayern Munich winning mentality at Stuttgart

Julian Green's first goal for Stuttgart and Emerson Hyndman's strike for Rangers headline this week's Yanks Abroad.

U.S forward Julian Green has told kicker he plans to use the winning mentality ingrained at Bayern Munich to reignite his career at second-division Stuttgart.

Green, 21, signed for the 2007 Bundesliga champions for a fee of €300,000 in December. The Tampa-born striker, who grew up in Germany, had been on the fringes at Bayern for almost seven years, graduating through the youth sides and reserves, but never actually made a Bundesliga first-team appearance for the Bavarians.

U.S. forward Julian Green scores first goal since move to Stuttgart

In an interview with ESPN FC's Gab Marcotti, Carlo Ancelotti says Julian Green improved a lot before moving to Stuttgart.

U.S. forward Julian Green scored the first league goal of his career on Monday in his second game with Stuttgart.

Green, who scored for the U.S. at the 2014 World Cup, left Bayern Munich to join second-division Stuttgart in December in hopes of more playing time than he received with the German champions.

After playing the first half of Stuttgart's win at St. Pauli last week, Green played 61 minutes against Dusseldorf on Monday and found the net in the 19th minute.
