Arjen Robben hopes to make Bayern Munich return vs. Borussia Dortmund

ESPN FC's Craig Burley believes Pep Guardiola may be under a bit of extra pressure to win the Champions League, and does not feel their Champions League quarter-final match against FC Porto will be a walk over.

Arjen Robben hopes to return for Bayern Munich in the DFB Pokal match against Borussia Dortmund on April 28.

Robben, 31, sustained an abdominal muscle injury in late March, and has been sidelined since.

The Netherlands winger has been one of the stars of the Bundesliga season so far, scoring 17 goals in 20 starts Bayern.

He currently tops the prestigious kicker ranking for the best-graded player in the league.

Emir Spahic's Leverkusen contract terminated after head-butting security

Emir Spahic signed for Bayer Leverkusen from Sevilla in 2013.

LEVERKUSEN, Germany -- Bayer Leverkusen have released Emir Spahic from his contract with immediate effect following his fight with security personnel after the DFB Pokal defeat to Bayern Munich.

Leverkusen managing director Michael Schade said "the latest revelations from the case last Wednesday leave us no other choice."

Bayer Leverkusen's Emir Spahic subject of police investigation

Bayern Munich advanced to the semi-finals of the German Cup on Wednesday following a penalty shootout win over Bayer Leverkusen.

Bayer Leverkusen centre-back Emir Spahic is the subject of a police investigation following an altercation after the club's cup match on Wednesday.

In video acquired by Bild, Spahic appeared to join in a confontation between fans and stadium stewards.

Bayer on Thurdsay confirmed that police passed their findings of the incident to the prosecutor's office, and an investigation is pending.

Club sporting director Rudi Voeller told Bild that the club "will not prejudge" Spahic's actions before the investigation...
