Zidane guides Real to La Liga glory, Allegri's Juve win again, Terry's sendoff

The ESPN FC crew hail Zinedine Zidane for his part in bringing Real Madrid back to the summit in La Liga.

There was no last day miracle, no "Tenerifazo" like a quarter-century ago when Real Madrid contrived to blow the title 90 minutes from the finish line. What you got instead was an early lead to settle the nerves, some great goalkeeping from Keylor Navas, and Karim Benzema putting the title out of reach by giving Real Madrid their 2-0 lead in the second half.

The victory away to Malaga sealed the club's 33rd league title, although only the club's second since 2008. Whether this reflects shifting...

Inter Milan deliver on the road against Lazio to end Serie A losing streak

Eder had another strong outing for Inter Milan in a 3-1 victory against Lazio.

Inter put an end to their four-game Serie A losing streak with a hard-fought 3-1 win against Lazio.

The hosts didn't waste any time as Keita Balde was brought down in the box by Jeison Murillo and converted the resulting penalty inside 19 minutes.

Stefano Vecchi's men reacted well, equalising when veteran benchwarmer Marco Andreolli surged onto an Ivan Perisic header to power home the equaliser. But Inter found themselves leading at the half when Wesley Hoedt carelessly turned in an Antonio Candreva...

Juventus clinch record sixth straight Serie A title with easy win vs. Crotone

As Juventus seal a sixth consecutive Serie A crown, Janusz Michallik explains just how impressive the streak is.

By defeating Crotone 3-0, Juventus clinched their sixth successive Serie A title becoming the first club to manage such a feat in Italy. One more trophy to celebrate, Juventus again proved why they have, by far, been the best team in the league.

Despite the scoreline, it must be said that Crotone played a good game, defending well, remaining compact and providing a threat on the counterattack. Refusing to surrender, the side just lacked the quality required to make a difference.

Braces by El Shaarawy and Salah help Roma overcome defence breakdowns

Stephan El Shaarawy has four goals in Roma's last three games.

Roma moved a step closer to automatic Champions League qualification after crashing five goals past Chievo on Saturday evening in a frenetic, disorderly display that highlighted their defensive failings as much as it did their attacking strengths.

Braces from star man Stephan El Shaarawy and the frustrating Mohamed Salah put Roma over the line after twice going down to cheap goals from a surprisingly lively Chievo, before Edin Dzeko capped off a big win with a thunderbolt of a strike to take his...

Juventus aim for sixth consecutive Serie A title vs. Crotone

Fresh off a Coppa Italia triumph, Max Allegri says Juventus will end the Serie A title race in the penultimate round.
The FC panel debate the form of the two UCL finalists, citing Juventus as the team more solidified from back to front.

One down, two to go. Juventus lifted their first trophy Wednesday evening, when they defeated Lazio 2-0 to win their third consecutive Coppa Italia trophy. It was a victory that was heavily celebrated, with the club, its squad and the many members of management reaping the rewards for a brilliant project that started more than six years ago.
